Pearl River Rebels (Pearl River, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Thrive Academy Bulldogs (Baton Rouge, LA), 52-6 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pearl River upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Frederick A. Douglass (New Orleans, LA) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 3-0.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Loreauville Tigers (Loreauville, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Thrive Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 46-19 non-league loss to Jeanerette (Jeanerette, LA).
