The Rushville Lions basketball team scored 28 points and held the host Union County Patriots to 27 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indianapolis Bishop Chatard for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Rushville will meet a Trojans team coming off a 54-51 non-league loss to Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.

The Patriots (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Shenandoah (Middletown, IN). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Shenandoah was nudged by Frankton (Frankton, IN), 54-23, in a non-league contest.
