The Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA) basketball edged the visiting Newton Rams (Covington, GA), 56-52 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Saints now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Riverdale for a AAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, December 3. Cedar Grove will play a Raiders team coming off a 57-52 non-league loss to South Atlanta (Atlanta, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-3.
