Illinois High School Basketball - Litchfield thwarts Delavan

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Litchfield Purple Panthers (Litchfield, IL) and the host Delavan Panthers (Delavan, IL), observed Litchfield's basketball team knock off Delavan by a score of 57-47.

The Purple Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri-City (Buffalo, IL). The Tornadoes come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Tri-City dropped by Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL), 63-38, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Illini Central Cougars (Mason City, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 30. Delavan will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 67-38 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, IL).
