In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting St. John Paul II Catholic Lions basketball team scored a good 56-46 triumph over the Odyssey Institute Minotaur.
The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Lightning go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Lincoln Prep was topped by Tempe Prep (Tempe, AZ), 51-26, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Minotaur battle the Veritas Prep Falcons (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 30. Odyssey Institute will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 63-21 non-league win over Trivium Prep (Goodyear, AZ).
