Virginia High School Football - Riverbend thwarted by Briar Woods

November 29, 2024: Fredericksburg, VA 22407

Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA), 32-15 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Briar Woods advances its record to 9-3 on the season. The Falcons travel to L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA) to play the Skyhawks in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 7. The Skyhawks go into the battle with a record of 10-3. L.C. Bird won 10-7 in their recent non-league battle against Fleming (Roanoke, VA)

The Bears now own a 8-4 record.
