In Friday's non-league contest, the host Wethersfield Flying Geese basketball team scored a big 57-34 triumph over the Brimfield Indians.
The Flying Geese (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Annawan (Annawan, IL). The Braves/Bravettes go into the Lincoln Trail contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Annawan was trounced by Riverdale (Port Byron, IL), 66-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians confront the Peoria Heights Patriots (Peoria Heights, IL) in a Prairieland contest, on Monday, December 2. Brimfield will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 52-4 league loss to Lewistown (Lewistown, IL).
