The Forrest City Mustangs basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Jonesboro Hurricane to 23 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Russellville for a non-league game on Saturday, November 30. Forrest City will confront a Cyclones team coming off a 60-33 non-league win over Rogers (Rogers, AR). The Cyclones record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Jonesboro falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Hurricane travel to Morrilton (Morrilton, AR) to confront the Devil Dogs in a non-league game on Saturday, November 30. The Devil Dogs go into the game with a record of 3-3. Morrilton lost 48-43 in their recent non-league game against El Dorado (El Dorado, AR)
