The Miners (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pana (Pana, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Pana dropped by Central/Southeastern (Camp Point, IL), 76-35, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Greenwave battle the Sullivan Redskins (Sullivan, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 5. Mattoon will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 49-36 non-league win over St. Teresa (Decatur, IL).
