Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Nevada Union moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Miners host Oakmont (Roseville, CA) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 3. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Weston Ranch for a non-league test on Friday, November 29.
