In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Blaine Bengals ice hockey team scored a close 4-1 victory over the Eastview Lightning.
The Bengals (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN). The Zephyrs go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Mahtomedi by Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN), 9-1, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lightning play the Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 30. Eastview will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN).
