Illinois High School Basketball - Crete-Monee holds off Thornton Fractional South

The Crete-Monee Warriors basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves to 52 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Homewood-Flossmoor for a non-league game on Saturday, November 30.

With the loss, Thornton Fractional South falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Red wolves travel to Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL) to confront the Caxys in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Caxys go into the game with a record of 0-0.
