The Monterey Trail Mustangs soccer squad scored 1 points and held the visiting Center Cougars to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Florin for a non-league bout on Monday, December 2. Monterey Trail will play a Panthers squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Bear Creek (Stockton, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Center moves to 1-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Oakmont (Roseville, CA) to play the Vikings in a Pioneer Valley League bout on Tuesday, December 10. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
