Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS) and the host Lake Hornets (Lake, MS), observed Forest's basketball team knock off Lake by a score of 51-35.

The Bearcats (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Leake Central (Carthage, MS). The Gators enter the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Leake Central was outscored by Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS), 74-57, in a non-league battle.

The Hornets now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pisgah for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 2. Lake will battle a Dragons team coming off a 61-42 non-league win over Park Place Christian Academy (Pearl, MS). The Dragons record now stands at 2-1.
