The North Warren Central Cougars basketball team scored 89 points and limited the host Galway Golden Eagles to 33 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Fort Edward for a Section 2 Adirondack game on Wednesday, December 3.

With the loss, Galway falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host Fort Plain (Fort Plain, NY) to confront the Hilltoppers in a Section 2 Western - Mohawk game on Wednesday, December 3. The Hilltoppers go into the game with a record of 0-0.
