Indiana High School Basketball - New Castle can't hold off Greensburg

November 29, 2025: New Castle, IN 47362

The Greensburg Pirates nudged the host New Castle Trojans basketball team by a tally of 51-47 in Saturday's non-league game.

The Pirates now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Batesville for a Eastern Indiana game on Friday, December 5. Greensburg will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 95-73 non-league win over Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, New Castle falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN) to confront the Huskies in a non-league game on Friday, December 5. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 0-1. Hamilton Heights lost 62-41 in their recent non-league outing against Noblesville (Noblesville, IN)
