The Westbury Huskies (Houston, TX) basketball edged the visiting Lutheran South Academy Pioneers (Houston, TX), 64-57 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Huskies now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milby for a 5A Region III District 21 test on Monday, December 1. Westbury will encounter a Buffs squad coming off a 65-54 non-league win over Pasadena (Pasadena, TX). The Buffs record now stands at 2-2.
The Pioneers (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX). The Crusaders come into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Concordia Lutheran was nipped by Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX), 43-28, in a non-league test.
