Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers (Madison, IN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN), 47-41 in a non-league contest.

The Hilltoppers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Medora (Medora, IN). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Medora was tipped by Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, IN), 68-22, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Crothersville Tigers (Crothersville, IN) in a Southern contest, on Tuesday, December 2. New Washington will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 78-45 non-league loss to Orleans (Orleans, IN).
