The Thornwood Thunderbirds nipped the host Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs basketball team by a tally of 63-59 in Saturday's non-league game.

The Thunderbirds now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Chicago Vocational for a non-league game on Monday, December 1. Thornwood will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 90-38 non-league loss to Richards (Chicago, IL). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Riverside-Brookfield falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Fenton (Bensenville, IL) to confront the Bison in a Upstate Eight - East game on Friday, December 5. The Bison go into the game with a record of 0-4.
