In Saturday's non-league test, the Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Poly Bears (Riverside, CA), by a tally of 53-49.
The Sharks now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Etiwanda for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 2. Santiago will play a Eagles team coming off a 68-17 non-league win over Norte Vista (Riverside, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Poly falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Diamond Bar (Diamond Bar, CA) to play the Brahmas in a non-league bout on Monday, December 1. The Brahmas go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Diamond Bar lost 62-24 in their recent non-league bout against Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA)
