Georgia High School Basketball - Starr's Mill holds off Lumpkin County

The Starr's Mill Panthers basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Lumpkin County Indians to 38 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they host McIntosh for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 3. Starr's Mill will clash with a Chiefs squad coming off a 59-32 non-league win over Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-1.

The Indians (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA). The Indians enter the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Tallulah Falls got by Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA), 53-33, in a non-league outing.
