South Carolina High School Basketball - Marlboro County can't hold off South Aiken

South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC), 38-31 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, South Aiken betters its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Thoroughbreds host Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC) to battle the Rebels in a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 2. The Rebels go into the contest with a record of 1-2. Strom Thurmond lost 44-31 in their recent non-league contest against Marion (Marion, SC)

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Chesterfield Golden Rams (Chesterfield, SC) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 1. Marlboro County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Golden Rams enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 46-35 non-league win over McBee (McBee, SC).
