In Thursday's non-league game, the Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ) football team knocked off the visiting Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ), by a final score of 42-22.
The Patriots (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ). The Golden Panthers come into the non-league game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Pequannock toppled Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ), 28-14, in a non-league game.
The Blue Devils now hold a 3-7 record.
