The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA) and the host A.J. Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA), saw South Lafourche's volleyball squad beat A.J. Ellender by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, South Lafourche upgrades its record to 2-4 on the year. The Tarpons travel to Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, November 4. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 38-6. Benjamin Franklin won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Neville (Monroe, LA)
The Patriots now own a 1-2 record.
