The Austin Royals HomeSchool Royals basketball team scored 47 points and held the host KIPP Austin Collegiate Cardinals to 42 in the Royals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Royals now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Veritas Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 7. Austin Royals HomeSchool will battle a team coming off a 79-68 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The record now stands at 1-1.

The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hill Country Christian School of Austin (Austin, TX). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
