    The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) and the visiting Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA), observed Appomattox County's football squad bounce Dan River by a count of 57-18.

    The Raiders now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Chatham for a Dogwood contest on Friday, November 10. Appomattox County will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 34-28 league win over Altavista (Altavista, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-3.
