    • North Carolina High School Football - Hough trounces Asheville

    November 3, 2023: Cornelius, NC 28031

    In Friday's non-league match, the host Hough Huskies football squad scored a big 51-0 victory over the Asheville Cougars.

    In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 10. Hough will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 9-2 record after their 41-0 non-league win over Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC).

    The Cougars (5-6) will now prepare for their match against Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Lions enter the non-league match with a 9-2 record. In their last match, Hickory Grove Christian routed Covenant Day (Matthews, NC), 34-27, in a non-league match.
