The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK) and the host Bethany Bronchos (Bethany, OK), observed Newcastle's football squad defeat Bethany by a count of 35-7.

The Racers now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Elk City for a non-league contest on Friday, November 10. Newcastle will encounter a Elks squad coming off a 34-6 league win over Marshall (Oklahoma City, OK). The Elks record now stands at 7-3.

Coming up next, the Bronchos encounter the Clinton Red Tornadoes (Clinton, OK) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 10. Bethany will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Red Tornadoes go into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 31-13 league win over Woodward (Woodward, OK).
