The Brandywine Bulldogs football team (Wilmington, DE), was tipped 24-21 in Friday's league challenge with the host Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE)
The Panthers (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Early College (Dover, DE). The Hornets come into the 1A District 2 challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Early College was tipped by First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE), 2-0, in a league challenge.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. Andrew's for a 1A District 2 challenge on Friday, November 10. Brandywine will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 41-11 league win over Seaford (Seaford, DE). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-6.
