The Westminster Academy Crusaders football team (Opelousas, LA), was ripped 55-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA)
The Hornets (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Cedar Creek (Ruston, LA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Cedar Creek was ripped by St. Frederick (Monroe, LA), 30-14, in a league challenge.
The Crusaders now sport a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host St. Edmund for a 1A District 6 challenge on Friday, November 10. Westminster Academy will meet a Fighting Blue Jays team coming off a 56-12 league loss to Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA). The Fighting Blue Jays record now stands at 7-3.
