Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Central Wise Warriors (Norton, VA), 44-24 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Grundy improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Golden Wave travel to Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA) to confront the Rebels in a non-league test on Friday, November 10. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 7-3. Patrick Henry won 48-8 in their recent league test against Northwood (Saltville, VA)

With the loss, Central Wise drops to 1-9 on the campaign.
