In Friday's league game, the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA) football team got by the host Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA), by a score of 28-21.
The Trojans (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Dallas (Dallas, PA). The Mountaineers come into the Wyoming Valley 4A game with a 11-0 record. In their last game, Dallas nipped Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA), 43-11, in a non-league game.
The Comets now sport a 5-6 record.
