California High School Football - Dr. Maya Angelou Community overwhelms Sylmar

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA), observed Dr. Maya Angelou Community's football squad bounce Sylmar by a count of 49-14.

The Phoenix now own a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Eagle Rock for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 9. Dr. Maya Angelou Community will play a Eagles squad coming off a 55-42 non-league win over Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-5.
