Texas High School Football - Wakeland knocks off Frisco

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) and the host Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX), observed Wakeland's football squad thwart Frisco by a tally of 42-24.

The Wolverines now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mansfield Timberview for a non-league contest on Friday, November 10. Wakeland will play a Wolves squad coming off a 55-0 league win over Adams (Dallas, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 9-1.

Coming up next, the Raccoons play the Richland Royals (North Richland Hills, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 10. Frisco will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Royals go into the contest with a 10-0 record after their 51-17 league win over Molina (Dallas, TX).
