The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC) and the host Garner Trojans (Garner, NC), observed Wake Forest's football team run past Garner by a final score of 42-19.

With the win, Wake Forest improves its record to 7-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Rolesville (Rolesville, NC) to confront the Rams in a non-league outing on Friday, November 10. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 10-1. Rolesville won 62-0 in their recent non-league outing against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC)

With the loss, Garner moves to 6-5 on the season.
