The Gilmer Buckeyes football squad scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Pittsburg Pirates to 6 in the Buckeyes league victory on Friday.

The Buckeyes now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Center for a non-league battle on Friday, November 10. Gilmer will face a Roughriders squad coming off a 45-21 league win over Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX). The Roughriders record now stands at 7-3.
