In Friday's non-league game, the Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY) football team smashed the visiting Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY), by a score of 54-14.
The Golden Eagles (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Boyd County trounced Mason County (Maysville, KY), 14-7, in a non-league challenge.
