Arkansas High School Football - Manila topped by Osceola

The Manila Lions football team (Manila, AR), was beaten 40-18 in Friday's league challenge with the host Osceola Seminoles (Osceola, AR)

The Seminoles (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Fouke (Fouke, AR). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Fouke achieved victory over Smackover (Smackover, AR), 21-18, in a league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Junction City for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 10. Manila will meet a Dragons team coming off a 55-6 league win over Gurdon (Gurdon, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 7-3.

Congratulations to #9 Jeremiah Jacobs (overall), #4 Keenen Jackson (offensive) and #58 Kevis Love (defensive) for being selected the Osceola Football Players of the Game.
