The Sheridan Blackhawks (Sheridan, IN) football edged the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 27-22 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Blackhawks face the North Decatur Chargers (Greensburg, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 10. Sheridan will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Chargers enter the bout with a 9-3 record after their 31-28 non-league win over Milan (Milan, IN).
