The Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT) football defeated the host Montville Wolves (Oakdale, CT), 37-19 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Amistad Wolves (New Haven, CT) in a Freelance bout, on Friday, November 10. Plainfield will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record.
The Wolves (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Griswold/Wheeler (Griswold, CT). The Wolverines enter the Eastern Connecticut II bout with a 7-1 record. In their last bout, Griswold/Wheeler defeated Stonington (Stonington, CT), 33-30, in a league bout.
