Midlothian Heritage Jaguars (Midlothian, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX), 45-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Midlothian Heritage upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Kennedale (Kennedale, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 7. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Kennedale lost 64-58 in their recent non-league bout against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX)

Next up, the Volunteers play the Flower Mound Jaguars (Flower Mound, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 9. Bowie will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
