In Friday's non-league battle, the host Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Joseph Eagles.
The Monarchs (20-3) will now prepare for their battle against Powder Valley (North Powder, OR). The Badgers come into the non-league battle with a 24-4 record. In their last battle, Powder Valley lost by St. Paul (St. Paul, OR), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Adrian Antelopes (Adrian, OR) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, November 4. Joseph will attempt to advance on its 20-9 season record. The Antelopes come into the battle with a 16-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Crane (Crane, OR).
