The Skagway Panthers volleyball team (Skagway, AK), was dropped 2-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Metlakatla Chiefs (Metlakatla, AK)

The Chiefs (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Klawock (Klawock, AK). The Chieftains enter the 2A Southeast challenge with a 15-4 record. In their last challenge, Klawock defeated Wrangell (Wrangell, AK), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Wrangell Wolves (Wrangell, AK) in a 2A Southeast challenge, on Friday, November 3. Skagway will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Wolves enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Petersburg (Petersburg, AK).
