The Kirk Academy Raiders (Grenada, MS) basketball were winner over the visiting Bayou Academy Colts (Cleveland, MS), 43-34 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Leake Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, November 6. Kirk Academy will play a Rebels team coming off a 61-51 non-league loss to East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Bayou Academy falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 13. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 3-0.
