The Annawan Braves (Annawan, IL) basketball felled the host Alleman Pioneers (Rock Island, IL), 51-32 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Braves (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Brimfield (Brimfield, IL). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Brimfield was beaten by Stark County (Toulon, IL), 52-45, in a non-league test.
The Pioneers now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sterling for a Western Big 6 match on Friday, December 2. Alleman will meet a Golden Warriors team coming off a 85-55 non-league win over Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL). The Golden Warriors record now stands at 3-1.
