Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Stansbury Stallions (Stansbury Park, UT), 63-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Alta moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Hawks host West Jordan (West Jordan, UT) to face the Jaguars in a non-league game on Friday, December 2. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 0-1. West Jordan lost 61-44 in their recent non-league game against Highland (Salt Lake City, UT)

With the defeat, Stansbury moves to 0-2 on the year. The Stallions travel to Herriman (West Herriman, UT) to face the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, December 2. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 1-1. Herriman won 65-58 in their recent non-league game against Cottonwood (Salt Lake City, UT)
