    The Bryant Hornets basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Searcy Lions to 37 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

    The Hornets now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sylvan Hills for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 14.

    The Lions (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Catholic (Little Rock, AR). The Rockets enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Catholic was routed by Mills University Studies (Little Rock, AR), 49-37, in a non-league contest.
