The Freedom Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Millbrook Pioneers to 33 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Freedom will battle a Pride team coming off a 62-53 non-league win over Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Pride record now stands at 1-0.

The Pioneers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Loudoun Valley triumphed over Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA), 80-50, in a non-league contest.
