Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the George School Cougars (Newtown, PA) and the visiting Pennington Red Raiders (Pennington, NJ), saw George School's basketball squad knock off Pennington by a count of 61-52.

With the victory, George School upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA) to play the Churchmen in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Churchmen come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Episcopal Academy won 68-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Germantown Friends (Philadelphia, PA)

Next up, the Red Raiders play the Academy of the New Church Lions (Bryn Athyn, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Pennington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
