Utah High School Basketball - Piute fells Gunnison Valley

Piute Thunderbirds (Junction, UT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Gunnison Valley Bulldogs (Gunnison, UT), 72-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Piute upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Tintic (Eureka, UT) to play the Miners in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Tintic lost 51-41 in their recent non-league bout against Milford (Milford, UT)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Rowland Hall Winged Lions (Salt Lake City, UT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Gunnison Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Winged Lions go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 61-51 non-league loss to Judge Memorial (Salt Lake City, UT).
